Supplies:
If you currently have supplies you enjoy for drawing and painting, please bring them. I have easels, turp, palettes and rags here. If you are going out to buy supplies I have compiled a list below:

Your drawing supplies can be conte, a chamois rag, kneeded eraser and drawing paper.

Your painting supplies:
Suggested Water Soluble Oil supply list:

Grumbacher's Max:
titanium white, gold ochre hue, cadmium barium yellow orange, diozonine purple, ultramarine blue or cobalt, cad barium red deep red and or cad barium medium red, cerulean blue, payne's gray, perylene maroon, burnt sienna and or raw sienna and ivory black. And:
Grumbacher's Max: "quick dry" liquid and/or a small linseed oil. And: Windsor Newton's Artisan: thalo green, magenta, naples yellow hue, olive green, cadmium yellow pale hue. If any of these are unavailable, get similar colors in Grumbacher Max or Holbein Duo. There are many beautiful colors by Holbein Duo you may want to add to your palette too.
Oil Brushes: You'll need a variety of sizes. Choose mostly filbert styles. Some favorites are Renoir, Princeton Art & Brush 7400fb and 4000fb and Eclipse by Windsor Newton all in filbert style and you can mix in a few rounds and brights if you like. Hog bristle of the highest quality are also important to have. The folks at Asel Beltline and Central are a big help.
Canvas: You may like to choose gallery wrap so the staples don't show.

Suggested Traditional Oil supply list:
Any oil paint brand you like of: titanium white, gold ochre, cadmium barium yellow orange, diozonine purple, ultramarine blue or cobalt, red, cerulean blue, payne's gray, maroon, burnt sienna and or raw sienna, ivory black, magenta, naples yellow hue, thalo green, olive green, cadmium yellow pale hue. Add to the list as you like.
Odorless turpentine and linseed oil and liquin
Canvas and brush recommendations below
Feel free to use the traditional oils or the Water Soluble; the only difference is that you'll need turpentine for clean up with the traditional oils whereas the water soluble clean with soap and water. Traditional and Water Soluble may be mixed together but, turp will be needed for clean up.
If you are interested in using acrylic or pastels you are more than welcome to join in….just bring your supplies!
